Somehow, they managed to organize suits not just for me (the groom), but also for my best man, the entire groom's party, and even both dads, all with patience and a great sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble for the team at Astares; from helping us choose styles to last-minute tweaks, they kept everything running smoothly – no small feat with our crew! Went in as I would rather go to a local, small business then a large company. Went in with my mum and dad, as he wanted to have a look and possibly get a new suite. When we walked in Jez welcomed us with a large smile and warm friendly demeaner. He let us have a look though the options and pick out ones we wanted to try, then offered advice and assistance when it came to my fiancé trying on the suites. After trying on a couple of suites, and choosing the perfect Waistcoat, and tie to match the suite and colour scheme of the wedding, he measured my fiancé up and gave his recommendation of what needed to be altered, and also gave us a great recommendation so we could get it altered to be perfect! Jez had a great sense of humour, especial with my dad, who likes to have his suites on the more roomy side for comfort, but was professional, not pushy and all round fantastic at his job. Ruth as well did a great job at steaming and checking the suite over to make sure there were no marks, damaged area or anything that might be off with the suite. All in all, if you want to get a suite for a special occasion, and a suite you can wear again, I would highly recommend Astares, and if they ever do women's suites I will be in there like a bat out of hell, because the suite my partner has is fantastic, and I would love to get myself one! UPDATE AFTER THE WEDDING: Husband now looked amazing in his wonderful suit from Astares. He looked amazing and felt comfortable throughout the day. If you want high quality and comfortable suites I would only recommended Astares as a local friendly business.Karen FowlieMy partner went in looking for a suit for his sons wedding, he’s on the larger size and automatically picks bigger sizes but with Jez’s experience he advised what sizes to pick to make the suit look it’s very best, he allowed him to try on a few different suits before he found “the one” he advised on accessories, different waistcoats, shoes and ties. From the moment I walked in Jez was polite and friendly, listened to my needs, asked all the right questions and provided us with recommendations based on temperature, colour and season. To say he knows his stuff is an understatement. Sized us all up and recommended tailors to really get the perfect fit. To top it off they steam your new suit and provide care instructions to make sure it’s perfect for the big day! I have personally recommended Astares to everyone I know looking for a suit, as the service and care is second to none. They really want to be a part of whatever occasion you’re buying for and to help you look your best. I’ve got a friend’s wedding next year and will definitely be returning to get another suit and will continue to return every time! If there was more stars i’d give them!
