In the store I carry out consultations and fitting with gents everyday at Astares menswear. At the end of my appointments I have a tidy. I usually find here that the guys have just left the trousers on the floor or attempted to hang them up, often in a way that creases the trousers in all the wrong ways.
This is not a problem for me as I am quick to hang them correctly and its my role to do so.
However, if you are hanging a nice pair of trousers at home, it is important to hang them correctly as this will help keep them crease free and ready to go when you next need them
One of the easiest ways is to take the trouser leg ends upside down. Then align them so they are flat using the natural crease in the trouser. Put the trouser legs together parallel so they are as one.
You can then slide them through the hanger and gently lay them over the hanger. You need to ensure they are balanced in weight so they do not fall off. This is achived by having the legs hanging lower than the waist band.
You can then adjust the trousers on the hange to ensure they are laying crease free.
The video above will explain this much better 🙂
