  • Do I need an appointment?

    No appointments required, simply pop in and browse to your heart’s content! 

  • Do you offer suit hire services?

    At Astares, we focus on providing a curated selection of high-quality purchase suits. We believe in offering garments that you can own and cherish for years to come, ensuring a perfect fit and lasting style. While we don't offer hire suits, we have an extensive range of purchase suits to suit every taste. We also offer expert tailoring advice to ensure your suit is perfect for you, and work closely with trusted local seamstresses for any alterations needed.

  • Can your suits be tailored or altered?

    Yes, absolutely! We understand that a perfect fit is essential for a sharp and confident look. At Astares, we offer expert tailoring advice to ensure your chosen suit complements your physique perfectly. We also work closely with trusted local seamstresses who are highly skilled in alterations. Whether it's adjusting the sleeve length, taking in the waist, or any other necessary adjustments, we'll ensure your suit fits you flawlessly.

  • Do you offer Childrens suits?

    Yes. Many of our suits are available to order from sizes 1 to 14 years. 

  • What suit sizes do you stock?

    We always try to maintain high stock levels. Many of our lines are available in Jackets and Waistcoats from 34" to 52" Chest.
    Trousers from 28" to 46" waist.

  • Can you supply precise directions to the shop?

    Astares Menswear is at 11 South Street in Havant at PO9 1BU which is located in the town centre adjacent to the cross roads with East, North and West Street, and across from St. Faith’s Church opposite The Old House At Home Pub.

    From the A27 westbound, leave the road at the Emsworth slip road. At the roundabout, turn right and go under the duel carriageway. Go straight over the next roundabout into Emsworth Road towards Havant Town Centre. Alternatively, from the A27 eastbound, leave the round at the Emsworth slip road. At the roundabout, turn left into Emsworth Road towards Havant Town Centre.

    Go straight over the the traffic lights adjacent to the One Stop and follow the road for a minute or so passing The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre on your left.  South Street is on your left just after the zebra crossing. You will find Astares Menswear on your left opposite The Old House At Home Pub.

     

  • Is there convenient access to the shop via train or bus?

    Havant train station is a short walk away via North Street which leads directly to South Street. Astares will be on your left, opposite The Old House At Home pub.

    The bus station is in Elm Lane. Turn right from the bus station and follow the road up towards the roundabout. Turn right and walk down North Street past Waitrose (on your left). Follow the road, North Street leads directly into South Street. Astares will be on your left, opposite The Old House At Home pub.

  • Is there parking nearby to the shop?

    The most convenient parking for Astares Menswear is either in The Meridian Shopping Centre,  The Bear Hotel car park or East Pallant car park behind the buildings on the northern side of East Street .

    The Meridian Centre car park is accessed from Elm Stree and the Sat Nav postcode is PO91UN

    To access The Bear and East Pallant car parks, turn right from Emsworth Road at the Royal Mail sorting office. (just after you go over the small old railway bridge and opposite the The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre) into Beechworth Road. Follow the road to the left and then turn immediately left into The Pallant. East Pallant car park’s entrance is ahead of you. For The Bear Hotel car park, continue on down The Pallant and at the end, turn left. Follow the road around and you’ll find the entrance to the hotel’s car park on your left just as the road bends to the left.
