How it works — Step 1: Inspiration & direction
Most grooms start by popping in with their partner. We’ll talk through colours, your wedding setup, and help you find a direction that feels right.

Step 2: Get fitted properly
Once you’ve chosen your look, we’ll size you properly in-store and make sure everything fits as it should.
This is also when your groomsmen can come in so we can coordinate everything around your suit.
No appointment needed — just walk in during opening hours. Saturdays can be busy, so earlier in the day or midweek is often quieter.

Step 3: Final fit before the day
Closer to the wedding, you’ll take your suit and fitting notes to a trusted local seamstress for final adjustments.
This allows for any small changes and ensures the best possible fit on the day.

We’re a walk-in store, but you’ll still get proper one-to-one guidance. There’s no pressure, no rushing, and no need to know exactly what you want before coming in.

- I’m not sure what colours will match our wedding theme — can you help?
Yes! Whether your theme includes sage green, coral, champagne, navy, or something bold, we’ll help you coordinate the perfect look across your party — and make sure the groom stands out.
- Can my groomsmen and I wear different suits?
Absolutely! Many grooms choose to subtly stand out by wearing a different suit, waistcoat, or accessories, while still coordinating with the rest of the party. We’re here to help you get the balance just right.
- How long before my wedding should I start looking for suits?
Ideally, we recommend starting your suit search 6–9 months before your wedding. That gives you plenty of time to find the right look, place orders, and handle any alterations calmly.
That said, there’s nothing wrong with starting even earlier — and if you’ve left things a little late, don’t worry. We hold a great range of stock in store and will always do our best to help you get sorted in time. - Do I need to book an appointment to visit?
No appointment needed! We're a walk-in service, and either Jez or Ruth will always be in store to offer personal guidance. If you're coming with a larger group, we recommend visiting earlier in the day or during quieter periods (Thursdays and Fridays).
- Do you offer suit hire services?
We don’t offer hire, as we found it too limiting for our customers. Our focus is on helping you invest in a high-quality suit you’ll feel amazing in — and one you can wear again. We’ll also help you coordinate your groomsmen, whether they’re suited here or sourced elsewhere.
- Who should I bring to my first visit?You’re very welcome to come alone, but we always say bringing your partner can be a great move. After all, they’re the one you most want to impress — and having them there often helps with colour choices, styling, and making confident decisions.Whether you come solo or with someone close, we’ll guide you every step of the way to help you find the perfect look.
