I find trousers left on the floor, or dangling off hangers in a way that creases the trousers in all the wrong ways.
This is not a problem for me as I am quick to hang them correctly and it’s a part of my role here at Astares!
However, if you’re hanging a nice pair of trousers at home, it’s so important to hang them correctly as this will help keep them crease-free, smart and ready to go when you next need them.
One of the easiest ways is to take the trouser leg ends upside down. Next, align them so they are flat using the natural crease in the trouser. Now, put the trouser legs together parallel so they are as one.
You can then slide them through the hanger and gently lay them over the hanger. You must ensure they’re balanced in weight so they don’t fall off – this can be achived by having the legs hanging lower than the waist band.
Now all that’s left to do is adjust the trousers on the hanger to ensure they’re laying crease free.
