Approximately eight months ago, I wrote my first review of Astares, based on my experience and I said I would be a returning customer. I did return, in person, and its a 220 mile around trip for me (and worth the effort), and met a fabulous couple running a small business with all the attributes that I described in my initial review.
I have returned via email and phone since that in person visit, too. I've bought three piece suits, for various occasions now. Mainly weddings but sadly a funeral, too. Thanks to Astares tutorials, I've also learnt how to double windsor knot my ties! Another recent purchase, I sought their professional expertise on a suit they didn't actually stock. I sent photos of the suit, with a bit of childish colouring in for the tie and suit combo. The following working day, I received a genuine response, and photographs to aid the visualisation, supporting why I return as a customer. I replied with the following:
"Seeing the photos you've provided proves the reason why you do what you do and I do what I do, for a living, and that's another reason why I like buying from you. The majority of other retailers would just look to close out a quick sale."
I received an honest, professional perspective, from people I trust, based on my interactions with them, be it in person, email or over the phone. I will not go anywhere else for my suits or advice. Astares is a great business, owned and operated by a fantastic couple, with honest values, and the service is impeccable. Give them the opportunity to serve you, and I very much doubt you'll regret the decision.

Looking for a Marc Darcy three piece suit, I landed on Astares website. They had exactly what I was looking for in the presumed correct sizes. I placed my order 28 December, with little expectation of receiving delivery that week, due to the festivities and turbulent times that we find ourselves in! However, I received my delivery within 48 hours. Happy days and credit to Astares customer service and turn around time, and to their courier of choice. Now, the presumed correct sizes of blazer and waistcoat were flawed on my part, largely due to poor measuring skills and an older, inferior quality suit, in my possession! I called Astares within 30 minutes of trying on the garments, and left a voicemail for a return call. In less than 90 seconds, I've received that return call, from Jez, who did not hesitate to offer the support I was in need of due to inaccuracies on my part. Not only did Jez reserve the replacement garments for me, immediately, to avoid selling out of stock, between Jez and Ruth they have arranged same day collection from my home address to save me the hassle of a drop off, and for a bargain return sender fee. Within hours, the courier has collected, and the package is on its merry way back to Astares. Now, bear in mind new year celebrations, the return journey, the inspection, the rubber stamp of OK, and the sending out of replacement garments, that was all done and dusted in the space of six calendar days. Exceptional turn around, in my opinion, and a very happy customer. Astares, Jez and Ruth, exemplify communication, customer care, customer service and customer satisfaction to the highest standard, and I fully recommend you give them the opportunity to serve you. I will certainly be a returning customer. Thank you for all you did for me, on this occasion and my sincere best wishes.
